Jeep Slander and IMSA Recap
Show Notes Transcript

On episode 6 of the Forza World Podcast, we recap our insane race weekend at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park and yet another baffling Porsche Cars & Coffee! A special thank you goes out to IMSA, CTMP, and especially the 🐐 Sam Fellows for hooking us up - we can't wait to do more with the track in the coming months.  We also sat in a 2 million-dollar Porsche Carrera, somehow. At 20:50, we get into the Forza talk about this upcoming Forza Horizon Hot Wheels pack. The boys had a few issues with the overall rollout of the pack itself, and how long it took for it to come out after the announcement. Note that the pack had not been released at the time of recording, so a full review episode will be coming next! Jason's Complaint Corner features transport trucks (lorries) blocking passing lanes, and Jason's pick for F*** That Car was the disgusting Jeep Patriot. The podcast closes with an all-time rant and some top-tier Jeep Slander - you won't want to miss it! All that and more on this episode of the Forza World Podcast.

00;00;24;20 - 00;00;34;09
Speaker 1
Hello and welcome to the Forza World podcast. You're on episode six. Andrew is not unfortunately here tonight.

00;00;34;13 - 00;00;37;16
Speaker 2
This is Jason talking when I say words. This is Jason and.

00;00;37;16 - 00;00;38;08
Speaker 1
This is Aaron.

00;00;38;09 - 00;00;48;17
Speaker 2
There you go. Yes. Now the dumber of the voices. But you know, Andrew, this week, Andrew is out hanging in P.E.I. with his brother and I think the rest of his family. So. Good stuff.

00;00;48;17 - 00;00;49;18
Speaker 1
There. Potato land.

00;00;49;22 - 00;00;59;14
Speaker 2
Potato land. Yeah. So just. Just the two bills this week, you know, we can say what? That last weekend was sick. Hmm. Unreal.

00;01;00;03 - 00;01;01;28
Speaker 1
Oh, great weekend. Yeah. Oh, my God. Yeah.

00;01;02;13 - 00;01;07;07
Speaker 2
I mean, what we're talking about, if you don't know, if you haven't heard us talk about it for the past, I don't know. Five shows.

00;01;07;12 - 00;01;07;19
Speaker 1
Yeah.

00;01;08;09 - 00;01;13;03
Speaker 2
Emcee race weekend up in Bowmanville, Clarence and whatever. Same thing. It's awesome.

00;01;13;07 - 00;01;13;21
Speaker 1
It was.

00;01;14;02 - 00;01;16;03
Speaker 2
Really racing. It was great.

00;01;16;25 - 00;01;19;22
Speaker 1
It was more than just sports car racing because those are vintage Formula One cars.

00;01;19;22 - 00;01;42;21
Speaker 2
There was which we thought were just going to be in there. But we got to watch them do two practices qualifying in a race or Theresa's two races. So it was crazy. Yeah the sounds. So they were late seventies I want to say John to John player specials they're all authentic chassis yeah. Which is crazy. And one of them was actually a James Hein Grand Prix, won the Hungarian Grand Prix and I don't know around there still sick.

00;01;43;06 - 00;02;02;00
Speaker 2
I mean the whole weekend too. As far as cost goes, I think we kept it under $300 a person, so it was pretty cheap. Like that's all in that's lodging, that's food, that's drinks, that's everything. I don't know of any racers really, where you can go that cheap, even like NASCAR is not bad. I don't know if he'd do it that cheap, though.

00;02;02;06 - 00;02;20;09
Speaker 1
Well, and even even the racing in in NASCAR, the racing is exciting, but it's nowhere near as involving as the race weekend that we were at because with the Formula One cars, they have their own little paddock and it's just part of setup. It's just you.

00;02;20;09 - 00;02;21;20
Speaker 2
Just have crazy pit stalls.

00;02;21;20 - 00;02;25;11
Speaker 1
Yeah, but you can, you can walk up to the cars individually and.

00;02;25;14 - 00;02;42;21
Speaker 2
So you can walk in the paddock. Yeah. Yeah. And you can't really do that in NASCAR. Right. As modern as the process has become in NASCAR, not to say it's always been like old school. Like I know a lot of the materials happen, but I mean, they really stretched it as much as they could with the materials that were given.

00;02;42;29 - 00;02;44;08
Speaker 1
So. Yeah.

00;02;44;12 - 00;02;50;03
Speaker 2
So we're saying like, you know, the actual racing procedures are really sophisticated now in NASCAR. Same with them.

00;02;50;03 - 00;02;51;17
Speaker 1
So similar things.

00;02;51;17 - 00;03;04;07
Speaker 2
But I mean, you just can't do that. You just can't walk into the paddock and then there's cars, buzz and body, there's carts honking at you like it's very, as you said, involved. Yeah, really.

00;03;04;16 - 00;03;24;22
Speaker 1
And it's cool because it gives you an experience that you wouldn't normally be able to do. And when they had the pit walk, where they had all the cars lined up for the pits, they had teams there. So you could go up and you could talk to the team. You could, you know, talk to the driver. You talked to the crew chief and basically ask whatever questions you wanted to about these cars.

00;03;24;22 - 00;03;48;00
Speaker 1
And you could even ask, you know, hey, can you open it up? I want to look inside. I want to get some pictures of the interior like you know, how much does a doorway and just ask him ridiculous questions like that. The one the one heart of racing Aston Martin, those they're the gtam has to Martin was there and I was like how lighter these doors and the person that was there years ago I don't know like they're they're pretty light and he was like, oh really?

00;03;48;02 - 00;04;04;19
Speaker 1
Yeah. He opens it up and he swing the store back and forth. He's like, Look how like the stories. And it was like, do this like a four or $500,000 car. And he just swinging this door back and forth. Absolutely hilarious. Crazy man. Yeah. And he's like, here, feel it. And I was like, what? He's like, Feel how, like, this is.

00;04;04;21 - 00;04;14;23
Speaker 1
He just hands me the door. Wow. Yeah, we absolutely passing by. Yeah. Just walking. It was the same as the the Aston Martin. They had the Gtb and the Gtam got it.

00;04;14;24 - 00;04;27;06
Speaker 2
Yeah. So they did that, the same sort of system and the guy was doing the same thing when he was given the tour of the various systems of the car. He was like lifting this door up. He was doing like workouts with it was like, holy cow. It was things like.

00;04;27;14 - 00;04;30;09
Speaker 1
He was spinning it around. Like one of those people with the signs on the side of the room.

00;04;30;09 - 00;04;36;09
Speaker 2
Yeah, look like he was selling, like, weed or something. Yeah. Yeah. You know, all the weed idiots outside. Yeah, yeah. The signs. Yeah, yeah.

00;04;36;17 - 00;04;39;07
Speaker 1
So if you see that in the States, maybe in the. I don't know.

00;04;39;23 - 00;04;40;11
Speaker 2
Yeah, that's true.

00;04;40;13 - 00;04;41;07
Speaker 1
It's all over.

00;04;41;14 - 00;05;06;11
Speaker 2
It's a very odd thing. Usually it's for like hot dog places. Yeah, it's for weed places. So anyways, getting more back on topic actually. Yeah. So they gave us a whole tour of like the car and like of their like pit area. Yeah. And it was really cool, man. They were explaining how the drivers like one of my questions was how the drivers stay cool because I know that there's different cooling systems in place, but I don't know what they are.

00;05;06;11 - 00;05;14;18
Speaker 2
How they look like in the car was kind of torn apart. So they were showing like some some ducks and everything in the car that kind of channels air to.

00;05;14;28 - 00;05;15;21
Speaker 1
The car driver.

00;05;15;21 - 00;05;30;22
Speaker 2
Yeah, I didn't know that they were like kind of this cool to coil system in their shirt. I did not know that idea that's going to last that through the helmet, which they also do. Yeah. And I believe there some other little cooling systems like that as well. But they were saying even in Sebring, the cockpit still gets up to 120.

00;05;30;28 - 00;05;34;14
Speaker 1
Which is insane, man. Yes, that's crazy.

00;05;34;14 - 00;05;42;23
Speaker 2
I know that's not the driver, but the fact the cockpit is 120, that is like next level focus. Yeah. You want to talk about like these guys aren't athletes like give me a break.

00;05;42;24 - 00;05;44;15
Speaker 1
Or one of the main personnel.

00;05;44;15 - 00;05;45;08
Speaker 2
Experiencing that.

00;05;45;20 - 00;05;47;22
Speaker 1
Yeah, come on. In that heat.

00;05;47;22 - 00;06;01;28
Speaker 2
Mm hmm. I don't know how you can make decisions when it's not hot. I just want to sleep and go home. Yeah, it's that hot. So now that was crazy. But you know what? Honestly, the whole experience we had, first of all, I mean, the goat shadow champion.

00;06;01;29 - 00;06;25;20
Speaker 1
Oh, man. It the the whole experience was so easy for us. Like, there was there was no part of it that seemed difficult, like everything was just laid out. So, you know, Sammy, for listening. Thank you. A million times. It was just it was absolutely incredible. We had tons of fun. The accessibility that we had was incredible. The entire tent, that was really cool.

00;06;25;20 - 00;06;26;24
Speaker 1
There were some really cool.

00;06;26;24 - 00;06;28;09
Speaker 2
The tech tent as well.

00;06;28;09 - 00;06;41;10
Speaker 1
The Tech ten crazy. Oh, yeah, very transparent. And everyone was, you know, the IMSA workers were so open and professional about it. Like, they they didn't seem like they had to really dumb it down for us, which was nice.

00;06;41;17 - 00;07;08;12
Speaker 2
No, no. If we were if we wanted to have some pretty heavy conversations about like camber and toe and everything, they were like, Yeah, okay. Yeah. They were like, Oh, these guys are newbies, right? Know that was cool. But I think what really struck me was yeah, the access we had the whole hot pit experience and everything was obviously insane, but it really highlighted how easy that whole weekend is because we took a bunch of our friends down that didn't have the access we did.

00;07;09;11 - 00;07;19;14
Speaker 2
They were still able to see pretty much everything we saw. Yeah. And it was just as easy for them. Like we came and went as we pleased. Yeah, right. Like we were, you know.

00;07;19;27 - 00;07;26;27
Speaker 1
Well we went down to Toronto for the one night, like the one, the one evening we drove down under an hour. Yeah. There and back.

00;07;26;27 - 00;07;39;29
Speaker 2
So, so picture that right. Like, I mean we go to the weekend like or go to the track for the weekend, we order a trailer straight to the track. So none of us had a tow hitch but we were able to get the, the trailer delivered.

00;07;40;03 - 00;07;40;12
Speaker 1
Yeah.

00;07;40;19 - 00;07;50;20
Speaker 2
For under $900 split between six people. So was really cheap. We got a bunch of food, a bunch of food, a bunch of food and they to Costco.

00;07;50;22 - 00;07;59;00
Speaker 1
Okay. Granted, the bunch of food consisted of eggs, bacon, hamburgers and hot dogs. I was so over red meat at the end of that weekend.

00;07;59;00 - 00;08;02;23
Speaker 2
Yes, I yeah, I know it was a couple of stir fries for me for the following week.

00;08;02;23 - 00;08;04;07
Speaker 1
It's definitely a couple of salads.

00;08;04;07 - 00;08;13;20
Speaker 2
It was cool because you have that experience and then less than an hour away we had Toronto. Yeah, we went to real sports and we watch the UFC fights. Yeah, we had a little night out in Toronto, which was great.

00;08;13;25 - 00;08;14;05
Speaker 1
Oh yeah.

00;08;14;05 - 00;08;19;14
Speaker 2
Awesome. Honestly, it was so easy getting in and out. And you know what? We didn't see a lot of traffic.

00;08;19;21 - 00;08;20;02
Speaker 1
No.

00;08;20;10 - 00;08;37;02
Speaker 2
We really didn't know. I don't I don't think we were stuck in traffic once coming from that side. You come through Milton, which was the south end of Toronto. Yeah, you're going to get tagged probably. But I mean, we went through at like 9:00 on a Saturday on the long weekend, like on the Canada Day. Canada Day long weekend.

00;08;37;02 - 00;08;37;10
Speaker 2
Yeah.

00;08;38;02 - 00;08;49;17
Speaker 1
And I think the I think the most amount of traffic that we hit was on when we were entering Toronto. And that was about it. But we didn't, we didn't drop below slow down. We didn't drop below 60 K an hour. No.

00;08;50;04 - 00;09;10;09
Speaker 2
It was crazy. It was it was awesome. So I mean, I, it's just the best weekend, man. Like, it's just hanging out with the boys, having some food, some great weather. Even though one day it rained, we still had a blast. It was awesome in the rain for that long grated. But jeez, man, we. We had just so much fun.

00;09;10;14 - 00;09;15;29
Speaker 2
Yeah. Thanks, Sam. Enough. I'm just saying, having that hot pit access. Yeah. On race day.

00;09;16;01 - 00;09;18;22
Speaker 1
On race day, like, well, you know, they're.

00;09;18;22 - 00;09;24;22
Speaker 2
Making pit stops and it's actually very meaningful. And I'm standing right there like an idiot, you know, like, I wonder if my zoom will work.

00;09;24;22 - 00;09;25;16
Speaker 1
On my pool. Oh.

00;09;26;05 - 00;09;35;21
Speaker 2
Crazy. Crazy that I was able to be that close to all these things. I got, like, NBC guys walking around me and everything, like, bumping into me. It's perfect. And yeah, I don't know, man.

00;09;35;25 - 00;09;49;09
Speaker 1
The teams were nice. The teams understood that, you know, we were walking around and we wanted to be part of the action and they were fine with it. Like as long as we were staying out of the way and we weren't doing anything stupid while we were there, they were fine with it. Yeah.

00;09;49;12 - 00;09;50;23
Speaker 2
And to be honest.

00;09;51;11 - 00;10;00;18
Speaker 1
Same thing with everyone else that was there watching the race. Like all of the other spectators were all super nice. There were a couple of guys that I ended up talking to.

00;10;01;07 - 00;10;02;10
Speaker 2
And they like.

00;10;02;19 - 00;10;21;12
Speaker 1
Oh, I was so. But I was when we were doing the track walk, they were walking around the track and they were throwing Frisbees and footballs. And, you know, we ended up walking back to their tent and they're like, Hey, you want a beer? You want some pulled pork? You want to you want a drink? We will. Oh, we're going to get a fire going and throw some stuff on the fire and just hung out for a good hour and a half and talked.

00;10;21;12 - 00;10;36;19
Speaker 1
Yeah. So it was great. Like everyone, they're super friendly. It's I don't think anyone irrelevant to how much race experience you have, irrelevant to how much you enjoy racing or watching it, even if you're not a car person. Going down there just for the experience is a lot of fun.

00;10;37;02 - 00;10;46;04
Speaker 2
Well, I mean, to really illuminate the situation for you, we had a group of about 8 to 10 people and I believe two of them were wearing Gucci shoes.

00;10;46;16 - 00;10;47;00
Speaker 1
Yes.

00;10;47;00 - 00;11;05;09
Speaker 2
So there is definitely hardcore race fans and there is definitely people who just got invited and knew they were very open. They knew nothing about racing and they loved it. Oh yeah, loved it. It was so sick. So yeah, you can go. This is just it's the same thing. All my friends always ask me, Do you want to go to an EDM festival?

00;11;05;09 - 00;11;18;10
Speaker 2
Do you want to go to a country music festival? And I always say, No, I don't want to go. I don't like the contacts. And they say, Well, you don't even have to listen to the country. Well, you know what? It's the same thing for the race. If you don't know anything about racing, you're going to hang out with your friends.

00;11;18;10 - 00;11;37;02
Speaker 2
You have a good time. You have some drinks, you're enjoying yourself. And I mean, honestly, even if you liked the genre of music you're going to, I don't think you can be getting woken up by a vintage Formula One car in the morning and then to just cook your own food like it's just so awesome. I don't know.

00;11;37;02 - 00;11;42;13
Speaker 2
And you know what piece de resistance, by the way? So we did end up getting our ride around the track.

00;11;43;03 - 00;11;44;23
Speaker 1
Oh, in the C8 Corvette.

00;11;44;23 - 00;11;48;23
Speaker 2
Sam, buddy. Jesus, thank you for kicking the back of your pen.

00;11;48;23 - 00;12;09;27
Speaker 1
So when I. I recorded that video and it was so difficult because I had my I made oh my God, I was recording on my phone and the the corners that we were taking. First of all, I would absolutely love to go down and be in the driver's seat and have, you know, Sam Moran or, you know, a professional driver.

00;12;09;27 - 00;12;12;07
Speaker 2
Oh, my God, if you drove me, I would have thrown up, you.

00;12;13;08 - 00;12;15;13
Speaker 1
Know, it would have been for sending it.

00;12;16;05 - 00;12;18;10
Speaker 2
But just one factor, too. Yeah, yeah.

00;12;18;12 - 00;12;44;21
Speaker 1
On on the back straight. Sam and I got up to I, I can't remember what miles an hour, but it was like 230 kilometers an hour that we ended up getting back up to on that back street and then just slammed on the brakes and when when you're in the passenger seat and you have someone driving absolutely insane, you don't have the ability to prepare for what's coming and going around the track.

00;12;45;05 - 00;12;49;23
Speaker 1
Both Jason and I know that track layout like we we know the track layout. We never knew.

00;12;49;23 - 00;12;50;10
Speaker 2
The elevation.

00;12;50;17 - 00;13;05;01
Speaker 1
Elevation and all that stuff. But when you're in the passenger seat being thrown around by a professional like Sam and, you know, he's taking it to, I wouldn't say the ragged edge like there was there was an element of safety involved, but he.

00;13;05;03 - 00;13;15;01
Speaker 2
Like, I didn't feel like he was like really that tight on the limit of grip, but he was definitely like flirting with it. Like you can feel when a car is like on that edge, but it was just so you can hear it.

00;13;15;01 - 00;13;16;04
Speaker 1
You can hear the tires, you.

00;13;16;04 - 00;13;17;04
Speaker 2
Can hear him. Yeah, yeah.

00;13;17;15 - 00;13;19;06
Speaker 1
But yeah, absolutely insane.

00;13;19;06 - 00;13;38;14
Speaker 2
It's very difficult to prepare for the gear boat to feel it wasn't a ton. It's just like Aaron says, when somebody else is driving, it's just so hard to prepare for, like, how much it's going to move you. And I mean, there's like a really crazy drop into a hairpin, you know, it's a directional change along with, like, the G itself.

00;13;38;14 - 00;13;46;08
Speaker 2
Yeah. And like, elevation and direction. Sorry. Yeah. And oh, my God. Yeah. I almost, like, fell over when I got to the car. It was like Wolf actually has on Instagram.

00;13;46;08 - 00;13;50;17
Speaker 1
And it is on Instagram. You can't watch. So that was our. Yeah, I know the exact same way. Yeah.

00;13;50;18 - 00;13;54;21
Speaker 2
It was just yeah it was wild so shattered Sam shattered it for a great weekend.

00;13;55;25 - 00;14;17;10
Speaker 1
If you know following him on Instagram, if you're not following CTP. Yes. If you're not following, you know, it's there's there's so much stuff on their pages. Sam does a lot of different types of racing and he's always updating the community about it. And it's it's fun to to follow along like you didn't you don't have to know anything for it to make sense.

00;14;17;10 - 00;14;22;00
Speaker 1
Like it's just an enjoyable guy. Yeah, yeah. But yeah. So I great weekend.

00;14;22;00 - 00;14;36;24
Speaker 2
I think it's a good play if you live around there to just go to various events because I know we will be yeah I know we'll be trying to branch out a little bit more. We know him. So primarily we know a little bit about NASCAR Xfinity series. They already went this year, but we're going to try to go to more events.

00;14;36;28 - 00;14;56;13
Speaker 2
Gonna try to get to that track a lot more. It's something we've discussed. I think it'd be great. I think, yeah, definitely follow along with CTP. There's some really cool things that you'll probably learn to love. I would think. But anyways, yes, we had a great weekend. Great time, actually. We had a great time yesterday.

00;14;56;19 - 00;14;57;02
Speaker 1
Yes.

00;14;57;13 - 00;15;19;24
Speaker 2
To be honest, I forgot that was even yesterday. I thought kind of thought it was today for a second. Cars and coffee, Porsche, the routine, the monthly routine. Even though we weren't there last month because of the Formula One race. Yeah, it's crazy. It's crazy that just routinely you have Mclarens and Ferraris and Lamborghinis showing up at the show just for fun.

00;15;20;01 - 00;15;26;20
Speaker 2
Yeah, right. You think it'd be like a once a year thing? This is a monthly show where we're getting, like, well over 100 cars.

00;15;27;02 - 00;15;29;04
Speaker 1
Oh, well over a hundred cars here.

00;15;29;04 - 00;15;38;28
Speaker 2
Cars and that embarrass mine. Honest. Yeah. I mean, once again. Yeah. Killer Great time hosted by Porsche of London. We had a wonderful time with them. As always, I love the show. Car cookies.

00;15;39;05 - 00;15;42;24
Speaker 1
Yeah, they're so good. And the banana bread has chocolate chips in it, which is wonderful.

00;15;42;24 - 00;15;44;03
Speaker 2
Yeah, I'm not the biggest fan.

00;15;44;03 - 00;15;45;13
Speaker 1
Of that, but I like banana bread.

00;15;45;14 - 00;15;51;11
Speaker 2
That's for another podcast that is for a complete corner. But it was it was awesome once again.

00;15;51;28 - 00;15;58;08
Speaker 1
Yeah. And the again, the staff of Porsche London is super great, super friendly.

00;15;58;28 - 00;16;00;09
Speaker 2
And that on every month that's.

00;16;00;10 - 00;16;13;15
Speaker 1
Every every single month and it's it's tiring for them. Like first of all, they're closed Sunday. So all the staff that goes in goes in on their day off. They get all the cars prepared in the showroom.

00;16;13;17 - 00;16;14;02
Speaker 2
I don't know.

00;16;14;07 - 00;16;18;19
Speaker 1
I I'm not too sure. I don't know. I wouldn't honestly, I wouldn't care. Like I would love to.

00;16;18;24 - 00;16;26;07
Speaker 2
It's an interesting bit of logistics. Yeah, but it's, it's a great event. It is a lot of really killer cars there. The people are awesome.

00;16;26;25 - 00;16;31;18
Speaker 1
On that career. T I don't know if you saw on Instagram is still there $2 million.

00;16;31;22 - 00;16;32;18
Speaker 2
I sat and you.

00;16;32;18 - 00;16;33;24
Speaker 1
Sat in it jeans.

00;16;33;24 - 00;16;42;09
Speaker 2
Yes, I was terrified getting into it. I was terrified getting out of it. But it was really cool. Yeah. It's the most expensive car I've ever done in on Vernon.

00;16;42;12 - 00;16;42;20
Speaker 1
Yeah.

00;16;42;26 - 00;16;48;13
Speaker 2
You were saying. You said if you won a Yeah. Very, very close in cost. I think it's kind of a toss up between two.

00;16;48;16 - 00;16;58;16
Speaker 1
It is. And like value nowadays like if you were to buy both of them right now it's going to be very similar through you're both spending around that $2 million U.S. mark.

00;16;59;14 - 00;17;02;19
Speaker 2
15 years on, the P1 might be worth more than the careers yet, though.

00;17;02;19 - 00;17;03;22
Speaker 1
I think so. Yeah.

00;17;04;10 - 00;17;20;26
Speaker 2
But based on the way the values are in our but still cool they're both unreal actually. Quick shoutout to her boy laser media. I'm sorry, we can't remember your name right now. I can't think of it. We've met a couple of people that day, but shout it to him because we do have you on Instagram. Yep. Noted for as a world fan.

00;17;21;07 - 00;17;24;08
Speaker 2
Had nice chat with him great guy. Took some really cool pictures actually.

00;17;24;08 - 00;17;27;07
Speaker 1
Yeah yeah he's he's a good photographer 100%.

00;17;27;16 - 00;17;40;26
Speaker 2
So that was really cool. We always love seeing you guys. I know there was a couple actually at the setup race that we weren't able to meet up with, but pretty cool, pretty cool stuff. But it was good show, man. It was a good looking forward to it. They got a big one in two months.

00;17;40;26 - 00;18;01;03
Speaker 1
Yeah. September's September 17th is going to be the big date. Now, that date hasn't necessarily released yet. So that's kind of like a A in the works. It's a thing. It's a hush hush thing. I don't necessarily think it's a hush hush thing because it is going to be happening, but that is going to be the big event.

00;18;01;03 - 00;18;12;03
Speaker 1
So if you're listening, if you're around the area, like even if you're like, what? Windsor Well, Toronto, Kitchener-Waterloo, Kitchener-Waterloo.

00;18;12;06 - 00;18;15;26
Speaker 2
Niagara region, yeah. If you're in Buffalo, I would honestly make the trip.

00;18;15;26 - 00;18;16;20
Speaker 1
I would make to drive.

00;18;16;22 - 00;18;21;01
Speaker 2
I mean, this is like you're going to see some 90 teens. There's no I wouldn't yeah.

00;18;21;01 - 00;18;23;10
Speaker 1
I would not be surprised plural. Yeah, I.

00;18;23;10 - 00;18;32;18
Speaker 2
Think. Yeah. So I would I would make the trip. If you're from Toronto, it is a very quick, brisk drive down on a Sunday morning. You're not touching traffic?

00;18;32;18 - 00;18;33;10
Speaker 1
No, not at all.

00;18;33;10 - 00;18;52;10
Speaker 2
So I would be doing this honestly. This is definitely one of the bigger shows. This is getting a very big reputation for a reason. Yeah, like put it this way, there was a couple out there the last times, MacLaren long tails. They shoved them in the back with a bunch of Nissan Versa as okay. They were not even close to being the star of the show.

00;18;52;16 - 00;19;06;13
Speaker 2
That's how nice I believe two months ago was. Meh, whatever. Yeah, yeah. Two months. Okay. So get there. That's all we're saying. Come see us. We're, you know, just refining our set up a little bit more, I think for for those kind of events.

00;19;06;16 - 00;19;10;21
Speaker 1
For from event to event, we're, we're getting there. I mean what.

00;19;10;21 - 00;19;23;28
Speaker 2
We just tried this partial worked. Yeah, we've got the process. We're going to be interviewing some people. We've got some stuff we want to put up. Yeah, it was hilarious and we really want to share that experience like at cars and coffee. Also driven too.

00;19;24;03 - 00;19;44;00
Speaker 1
And driven as well. Yeah, but yeah, from from event to event that we're going to be going to we're going to be refining the set up. But we, we just we very much enjoy seeing you guys. We like having it's it's so cool for us to have that recognition and, you know, seeing you guys and talking to you guys and hearing your side of the story.

00;19;44;17 - 00;19;48;19
Speaker 1
And when we did the Instagram live, you guys were, you know, involving you're like, hey, fuck that car.

00;19;49;13 - 00;20;03;24
Speaker 2
You guys know the sticker. Now it's cool to see and certainly for an event that's going to be that big. We want to see you guys there. We want your guys pictures. We want to share not just the for the pictures that you guys take. We want to share the real ones, too. Oh, yeah. Honestly at some of these events.

00;20;03;24 - 00;20;12;19
Speaker 2
So yeah. See, I get there. I mean, merch is something we're kind of thinking about too, so I mean, maybe we'll bring a couple of shirts along with us and yes, we can fit in a large.

00;20;12;19 - 00;20;19;14
Speaker 1
But yeah, if we can, if we can get the, uh, the merch going by then, which I think we should buy by September, we've.

00;20;19;14 - 00;20;29;23
Speaker 2
Got some plans, we've got some, like we say, we've got some big stuff coming next two weeks you're going to see a couple of big things. Time of writing. This is July 18th. Yeah, yeah. We've got some really cool stuff on the way. We don't sound like shit anymore.

00;20;29;27 - 00;20;30;09
Speaker 1
No.

00;20;30;18 - 00;20;30;29
Speaker 2
I mean.

00;20;31;05 - 00;20;31;22
Speaker 1
I mean, that's.

00;20;31;28 - 00;20;32;02
Speaker 2
Good.

00;20;32;07 - 00;20;37;13
Speaker 1
Progress in and of itself. I mean, you go two episodes back from this and episode four, I sound like I'm in a Wendy's drive thru.

00;20;37;22 - 00;20;58;21
Speaker 2
Oh, my God. It's terrible. It's terrible. Just brutal, man. But you know what? I don't have a complaint yet. I have somewhat of a complaint, though. Okay. And I don't think it's anybody's surprised that when we shift to four is a talk. Yes, it starts with complaints. But what my complaint was going to be, I think you know what I'm to say you're was cartwheels.

00;20;59;03 - 00;21;07;24
Speaker 2
Yeah, I was. Yeah. So I just found out that the Hot Wheels pack drops tomorrow. And so I don't wanna say found out, but I remembered.

00;21;08;00 - 00;21;08;21
Speaker 1
July 19th.

00;21;09;05 - 00;21;17;00
Speaker 2
And I don't like I care, but like, I kind of forgot I cared. To be honest, it's been a month.

00;21;17;00 - 00;21;18;21
Speaker 1
I wouldn't say it was in like a month ago.

00;21;18;25 - 00;21;37;00
Speaker 2
Yeah, like, I just I thought that was a really dope time to release that. I didn't think it at the time. I was like, Oh, it's going to be sick. But like, honestly, I don't know. It was a really big media push when that launched or like the announcement happened and we were fired up properly. Yeah, everybody.

00;21;37;00 - 00;21;37;29
Speaker 1
Was. Everyone was.

00;21;37;29 - 00;21;54;02
Speaker 2
And I just completely forgot about it. And now that I remember it, it's tomorrow. Like, I don't know how much I really care. Like I'm going to play it because I want to see, but like I'm not like setting an alarm and like looking into when it launches, like, I'll get around to it.

00;21;54;04 - 00;21;54;12
Speaker 1
Yeah.

00;21;54;28 - 00;22;01;19
Speaker 2
And that's a shame, dude. That's, that was like a really big back. Like, that was just a terrible botched launch.

00;22;02;01 - 00;22;04;15
Speaker 1
Yeah. Like I said, no media.

00;22;04;15 - 00;22;06;10
Speaker 2
Like, it's just little stupid things.

00;22;06;12 - 00;22;24;28
Speaker 1
That with the trailer videos in the trailer as well. Like when that when that trailer came out, we do have so if you play for the Ryzen five and you go to the like hover over the Hot Wheels expansion thing, by the time you're listening to this, it's going to be outside. Well, you might not be able to see the trailer, but we're going to be posting the trailer.

00;22;24;28 - 00;22;34;06
Speaker 1
So you're going to be able to see it on the Instagram page. But the trailer in game that it showed you was way better than the trailer that they released publicly.

00;22;34;06 - 00;22;35;07
Speaker 2
Talk about that. You didn't.

00;22;35;07 - 00;22;35;24
Speaker 1
We haven't.

00;22;35;24 - 00;22;41;19
Speaker 2
Know. Oh, my God. Yeah. So we posted both. We did.

00;22;41;19 - 00;22;42;22
Speaker 1
We haven't. Not the new one.

00;22;42;22 - 00;22;43;04
Speaker 2
We didn't.

00;22;43;08 - 00;22;47;20
Speaker 1
Know. No, the old one. Yeah we haven't it. It'll be up by the time you listen to this.

00;22;47;20 - 00;22;55;21
Speaker 2
Yeah. So actually I know why I saved it. I'm not stupid. I thought it was dumb for not posting it. I wanted to save it for release day.

00;22;55;29 - 00;22;57;05
Speaker 1
Oh, smart.

00;22;57;06 - 00;23;11;19
Speaker 2
That's why I wanted to do it. And now that I think about it, that's probably what the, like, playground should have done. Yeah. You put the biggest hype video the day of the game. Yeah. And you have a build up of media or even like you.

00;23;11;19 - 00;23;12;20
Speaker 1
Do even the day before.

00;23;12;27 - 00;23;19;06
Speaker 2
Black and white for Zillow, Low Instagram, Instagram date. You know, July 19, 2022. It's coming the.

00;23;19;06 - 00;23;23;16
Speaker 1
Call by God. And that's the firm because you won't you won't know what's coming. Like, even if they just did.

00;23;24;04 - 00;23;37;28
Speaker 2
And then no cars just yeah. Yeah. And then you just do the outline of that. You are, you're like, oh, my men come up with a killer. Like actually maybe the day before it, even day before video, everybody freaks out and then you count down the hours. Yeah. Is how.

00;23;37;28 - 00;23;39;26
Speaker 1
You do. That's how you release something like that.

00;23;39;26 - 00;23;41;09
Speaker 2
I'm available for work, by the way.

00;23;42;02 - 00;23;42;27
Speaker 3
It's just.

00;23;43;01 - 00;24;00;14
Speaker 2
Just, you know. So I'm just saying that would have been a better way to go about it. I just I don't want to say I don't care. I just. I don't. We figured as much as I did. I definitely forgot about it. Yeah. Like we're, we've got every notification for for designed to let us know news and like I it's just been nonsense.

00;24;00;14 - 00;24;01;07
Speaker 2
Like, well, they posted.

00;24;01;15 - 00;24;05;24
Speaker 1
They posted how they were going to do the announcement livestream. But I don't care.

00;24;05;24 - 00;24;12;07
Speaker 2
I don't care about that stuff. I don't have 2 hours to listen to somebody play a game that I want to go play. Yeah, I don't care.

00;24;12;12 - 00;24;13;13
Speaker 1
Honestly, that's true.

00;24;13;16 - 00;24;20;05
Speaker 2
I'll watch the highlights I honestly like. I'll watch somebody else break it down for 20 minutes. Yep. Right.

00;24;20;06 - 00;24;20;19
Speaker 1
And that's it.

00;24;21;02 - 00;24;22;07
Speaker 2
That's it. And they're not.

00;24;22;09 - 00;24;23;08
Speaker 1
Just going to go and play, so.

00;24;23;08 - 00;24;40;23
Speaker 2
We're not going to break it down. Yeah, right. Well, I mean, we will on the podcast, but two weeks after everybody else does. Yeah. So yeah. So I don't want to, I don't want to see any of that. I don't know. I just that that's how I look at things. Maybe it's a very old school way. Maybe everybody's like thinking, I'm a boomer for the way I look at streaming.

00;24;40;23 - 00;24;41;09
Speaker 1
Maybe, but.

00;24;41;09 - 00;24;42;06
Speaker 2
I just, I.

00;24;43;02 - 00;25;09;28
Speaker 1
I'm on the same page as you are genuinely like it because so series ten and the Hot Wheels expansion are releasing tomorrow and in series ten has ten new cars that are releasing with it and they they just release those and it releases tomorrow. So all the new cars that are coming they released today, it got to the point where they released it and it's happening tomorrow.

00;25;10;19 - 00;25;27;29
Speaker 1
That's the way it should be for big releases like this for for something small. At that point, you can be like, hey, in series ten, we're going to be bringing ten new cars in, but we're not going to tell you what those ten new cars are. We're just going to let you know that we're bringing two new cars and then you drip feed them to us.

00;25;28;05 - 00;25;31;26
Speaker 2
Yes, that is a good point. I've never thought of doing it like that.

00;25;32;21 - 00;25;53;27
Speaker 1
But, you know, again, maybe it's maybe it's just our way of thinking. Maybe we're, you know. Yeah, maybe we think like boomers. But it's it's to the point where they released the trailer, the the announcement trailer for her for Horizon Hot Wheels about a month ago. We forgot about it. And, you know, again, we remembered and we're like, oh, my goodness, yeah, it is tomorrow.

00;25;54;24 - 00;25;57;29
Speaker 1
I work tomorrow, so I'm not going to be able to play it.

00;25;58;07 - 00;26;21;17
Speaker 2
No. And I mean, most people have lives and it might sound I don't know if selfish is the right word, but I just I don't know, man. Like, there's other we have other priorities. Most players have other priorities. And there are going to be a lot of you out there that are maybe 16, 15 or under and you have no responsible, which is cool obviously for.

00;26;21;17 - 00;26;34;16
Speaker 2
Yeah, but I mean, I don't know, like you guys got stuff to do too. Yeah, right. Like, I mean, you got sports to play. Yeah. I mean, you know, in school right now. But like, you've definitely got like, you want to go hang out with your buddies, want to go fishing? Yeah. Want to go do something, you know.

00;26;34;16 - 00;26;35;14
Speaker 1
Go play hockey, go.

00;26;35;14 - 00;26;39;23
Speaker 2
Playing out. Like it's like 38 degrees outside is like I remember nap like, you know.

00;26;40;06 - 00;26;40;16
Speaker 1
Stuff like.

00;26;40;16 - 00;26;50;12
Speaker 2
That. Like life happens. Yeah. And there's just I think there's this assumption that for the is life for a lot of people and nobody can consume.

00;26;50;25 - 00;26;51;11
Speaker 3
All.

00;26;51;11 - 00;27;13;24
Speaker 2
Of that. No like you have to be much more selective and have your content make a bigger impact instead of just having a complete media blast and then hoping that people catch like, you know, 20% of all this crap that gets put out here, and especially if there's pages you don't interact with a lot or there's pages that make a lot of posts that you didn't interact with a lot, it doesn't get suggested to you.

00;27;14;04 - 00;27;29;22
Speaker 2
So I miss like a decent amount of force and stuff sometimes that you catch and let me know or vice versa. Yeah, just because there's a lot of stuff that just like goes under the radar there. I suppose that there were times, by the way, I don't know if you notice that, especially for for motorsport, we love you guys, but like they treat it like 11:30 p.m. last night.

00;27;29;22 - 00;27;30;16
Speaker 2
That was really weird.

00;27;30;16 - 00;27;35;05
Speaker 1
There is there is a poster of Forza motorsport on Instagram that I do want to talk about.

00;27;35;19 - 00;27;37;06
Speaker 2
Oh, my God. Yeah, you're right.

00;27;38;03 - 00;27;38;15
Speaker 3
So.

00;27;38;29 - 00;27;41;29
Speaker 2
Yeah. Why don't you explain that? Because I'm still I'm still laughing at that.

00;27;42;04 - 00;28;15;16
Speaker 1
So if if you listened to our podcast last week, the segment that we have, fuck that car, we talked about the Hyundai Veloster and terrible. Granted it has merit in in most situations like the design is odd the fact that it has three doors is odd and odd it's just it is an odd car. So Forza motorsport ended up making a post about its today, July 18th.

00;28;15;17 - 00;28;20;10
Speaker 2
Which is two days removed from the release date of that roast.

00;28;20;22 - 00;28;21;15
Speaker 1
I think so.

00;28;21;16 - 00;28;23;11
Speaker 2
I believe it's two days, less than two years removed.

00;28;23;15 - 00;28;41;01
Speaker 1
Yeah. So the fact that it was, I mean I the odds of Forza listening and being like, hmm, yeah, we need to make a post about the Hyundai Veloster, which is the very car these guys complained about two days ago. I could see it, but I'd be skeptical.

00;28;41;01 - 00;28;50;13
Speaker 2
I don't know, basically, if you didn't listen to the last episode, we tore strip off of this thing we did. We really did. It was like a ten minute bit. It was the longest one we've had. And apart from.

00;28;50;13 - 00;28;51;09
Speaker 1
The smart cars, the smart.

00;28;51;09 - 00;28;54;03
Speaker 2
Car was Mark, our one. I actually had to like edit a lot I had.

00;28;54;13 - 00;28;54;28
Speaker 1
Also.

00;28;54;28 - 00;29;06;08
Speaker 2
But. Okay, all right. So second, second, hardest and one that we had and they put out a post just pumping this thing up. Yeah. I mean, like, what are you on, team Veloster or whatever or something like that.

00;29;06;15 - 00;29;07;28
Speaker 1
Veloster Nation y.

00;29;07;28 - 00;29;30;09
Speaker 2
Are Hyundai Veloster drivers basically just Wal-Mart brand Subaru drivers. What is up with that driver anyways? Anyways, it is kind of a coincidence that less than two days after they have like a completely opposite narrative of like the Veloster and, and the Veloster itself. I don't know if that's a master troll job. Well done to this.

00;29;30;09 - 00;29;31;15
Speaker 1
Well done. Well done.

00;29;31;15 - 00;29;41;17
Speaker 2
Hilarious. Yes. If you are listening, if somebody I would think somebody from there is listening just to make sure we don't see anything too crazy. Maybe there's got to be somebody in magic listening.

00;29;41;21 - 00;29;54;09
Speaker 1
Yes, but we appreciate you imagine. So we both know the car for fuck that car tonight, which is going to be coming. We'll get there. Yes, I can just imagine if they end up releasing that and so forth.

00;29;54;21 - 00;29;55;17
Speaker 2
Okay. Okay.

00;29;56;13 - 00;29;56;27
Speaker 3
Listen.

00;29;57;16 - 00;30;09;06
Speaker 2
If this car I'm not I can't talk about it now. I can't talk about it. Okay. That's a good to agree. I got to complain about other things first, man. You do other things to complain about. You do. Like I had a terrible drive home today from London. Okay, terrible. So.

00;30;09;06 - 00;30;12;19
Speaker 1
Okay, so where are we moving in? Yeah. Okay, cue the music.

00;30;13;06 - 00;30;37;03
Speaker 2
Okay. Yes, I. Yeah, it's a good song. It is a good song. So, listen, it's not going to save my anger, though. As much as I like this song because I'm on the way home from London and I kind of forgot I had the same problem on the way down. I am so sick and tired of all these stupid truck drivers with their grade ten, maybe a grade 11 education that are just warm and down the highway.

00;30;37;03 - 00;30;49;18
Speaker 2
And aside, as of right now, I understand there are 19 cars about to combine you, but I'm going to go to the left lane right now and proceed to pass the truck in front of me at two kilometers an hour. Difference.

00;30;49;18 - 00;30;50;00
Speaker 1
Yes.

00;30;50;06 - 00;31;03;01
Speaker 2
What is up with that man? Oh, yeah. I am going to lose my mind the next time I see it. I was in the bend so I couldn't really be too Gary. I had to kind of stay back and not honk the horn or flash my lights or do anything like that. But dear God, what do you accomplish?

00;31;03;02 - 00;31;23;03
Speaker 2
What you accomplish? We need action. We need regulations. We need some. I don't even know, like not a speed limiter, but like if you're doing, you have to do 110, 110 kilometers an hour. Everybody's got to do it. No excuses. You go under. I don't know. You lose your license. If you go over, you lose your license. Everybody's got to do the same God damn speed.

00;31;23;03 - 00;31;28;01
Speaker 2
Because I'm telling you right now, you are making no extra. Well, you're doing two kilometers.

00;31;28;01 - 00;31;30;02
Speaker 1
You do 112 rather than 110.

00;31;30;06 - 00;31;33;28
Speaker 2
I know. But I'm saying over the course of an hour, oh, you gain two kilometers.

00;31;34;06 - 00;31;34;25
Speaker 1
When.

00;31;35;05 - 00;31;40;23
Speaker 2
You're sick. It's not like that takes literally 3 minutes for 2 minutes, tops. If that.

00;31;40;29 - 00;31;41;14
Speaker 1
If that.

00;31;41;18 - 00;31;53;29
Speaker 2
Under a minute. So you're an idiot. That's kind of my point here. As I hate this, it makes me so angry. It riles me up. And you just all you do is you have now two lanes. I'm just kicking stones back at my car, and I.

00;31;53;29 - 00;31;55;08
Speaker 1
Hate it. I think even.

00;31;55;08 - 00;31;57;11
Speaker 2
If I was in my car, that looks like a computer mouse.

00;31;57;16 - 00;31;57;21
Speaker 1
Yeah.

00;31;57;21 - 00;32;00;28
Speaker 2
So be equally as irked. Oh, my God. It's for, like.

00;32;01;09 - 00;32;02;25
Speaker 3
6 minutes, and it doesn't.

00;32;02;25 - 00;32;23;06
Speaker 2
Sound like a lot, but if you do a 20 I big math guy this week. Okay? If you do a 20 kilometer an hour speed difference, I'm going 100 instead of 120 for 5 minutes. At what time is Jason late for his an appointment? That's what I have to say, because dear God, that's the most annoying part of all of it.

00;32;23;06 - 00;32;33;14
Speaker 2
You can't love traffic for no reason, like your gain is so minimal. Like it's just so dumb. Just wait. Wait for cars. I don't know. I hate it. That's complaint form for this week. I don't want to talk to someone.

00;32;33;21 - 00;32;34;03
Speaker 1
Fair enough.

00;32;34;12 - 00;32;35;29
Speaker 2
Fires me up too much. My god.

00;32;36;11 - 00;32;47;27
Speaker 1
So moving on, I do want to talk about a couple vehicle releases now. At this point, I'm sure everyone listening has heard about these two vehicles that I'm about to talk about.

00;32;49;01 - 00;32;50;03
Speaker 2
Because I heard of these vehicles.

00;32;50;03 - 00;33;10;00
Speaker 1
They're I'm pretty sure you have. Okay. Because they're they're quite big news. Now, the first one is from America and it is a Ford. So it is the Ford F-150 Raptor. R Oh, do you know what that is?

00;33;10;15 - 00;33;12;22
Speaker 2
I know. I haven't even heard of this.

00;33;12;24 - 00;33;36;05
Speaker 1
Okay. So when Ford remember back in 2000, I think was 2015 when they did the redesign of the F-150. Yeah, they came out. They're actually yeah. They came out with the F-150 Raptor with the V6 rather than the V8. Yes. And a lot of people were upset about it. And like, this isn't a real raptor because it's not a VA.

00;33;36;05 - 00;33;56;16
Speaker 1
And everyone complaining about it, even though it was way quicker and way more efficient, people were just losing their minds. Losing would agree. Yes. Same thing with the Ford GT like. Yes. Okay. It's a twin turbo V6, still an unreal car. People were were upset. Then they came out with the new Ford Raptor. So for 2022, they came out with the Ford Raptor and it still had the V6.

00;33;56;16 - 00;34;12;14
Speaker 1
Now when they came out with that, they teased the Raptor R because at this point Ram had the rebel the ram T-Rex and I know that everyone's like Arch pronounced T Rex No, actually it's pronounced t rex oh.

00;34;12;14 - 00;34;14;13
Speaker 2
I'm so stupid. I didn't know that.

00;34;14;13 - 00;34;16;27
Speaker 1
Yeah, it's pronounced t rex I know this doesn't. Rex It.

00;34;16;27 - 00;34;19;00
Speaker 2
Is. I don't like this. Don't know. It's okay.

00;34;19;08 - 00;34;20;11
Speaker 1
I call it the T-Rex.

00;34;20;11 - 00;34;21;11
Speaker 2
Continue on the Ford. Sorry.

00;34;21;25 - 00;34;29;01
Speaker 1
So I call it the T-Rex. But if you open up the hood, then there's a stupid picture. The T rex eating a raptor and they're like, ha ha ha. Look, we're fine anymore.

00;34;29;01 - 00;34;32;10
Speaker 2
I didn't know that. Hated even more. Let's continue as a Ford. Okay.

00;34;32;21 - 00;35;10;25
Speaker 1
So the the F-150 Raptor R so basically what they did is they took the predator engine from the GT500 that 700 horsepower V8 supercharged V8 and threw it in the Raptor. So now the Raptor R has the 5.2 liter supercharged V8. It makes 700 horsepower, £640 feet of torque. And it is just an absolute beast. I'm very much excited for this pretty heat.

00;35;10;25 - 00;35;12;04
Speaker 1
There's. Yeah, oh yeah.

00;35;12;07 - 00;35;13;01
Speaker 2
Well, that's pretty.

00;35;13;03 - 00;35;18;17
Speaker 1
You're going from 450 in the regular Raptor to 700 horsepower.

00;35;18;17 - 00;35;21;13
Speaker 2
This is kind of Shelby Roush numbers. Is it nine.

00;35;21;14 - 00;35;24;25
Speaker 1
Or what's the it's the Gt500 engine is the Shelby engine.

00;35;25;17 - 00;35;28;02
Speaker 2
Oh, it is. And I just I just mean like it seems.

00;35;28;02 - 00;35;29;01
Speaker 1
Oh, yeah, yeah.

00;35;29;02 - 00;35;36;24
Speaker 2
Like, like one up trim almost. So this is pretty much just to be clear, this is a Ford Trim. This is this is a Ford no offering. No.

00;35;36;24 - 00;35;42;26
Speaker 1
This is coming from factory. Granted, MRP is like $110,000, which.

00;35;43;01 - 00;35;46;24
Speaker 2
I mean, honestly, for like if you look at Dooley's and stuff like that, it's really not that's.

00;35;46;24 - 00;35;51;25
Speaker 1
Really not that different. Yeah. When you get an F for 50 duly platinum, it's the same price. Yeah.

00;35;51;26 - 00;35;57;04
Speaker 2
Like I don't understand how 110 grand gets to truck. Like you think about how many sports cars you can get anyways.

00;35;57;04 - 00;36;22;07
Speaker 1
Anyway, I'm very excited for it. There's a couple videos out on it, but there hasn't been any full reviews on it because it was just released. Yeah, very fresh, but it looks good. So they didn't do anything crazy. They still have the raptor badges, but the like the R on the end of the raptor badge is red. There's a red R badge on the front.

00;36;22;13 - 00;36;30;24
Speaker 1
So they, they made it so that if you know what you're looking at, it's, you know what you're looking, okay? But if you don't know, it's just another raptor, okay? Which is nice.

00;36;30;25 - 00;36;32;14
Speaker 2
All right. So it's a subtle, distinct it's.

00;36;32;14 - 00;36;42;26
Speaker 1
A subtle distinction, which I like compared to the the T-Rex, which is just I'm going to try and make this is big and wide and obtuse. It's possible. Which is yeah, it isn't up to strut kind of.

00;36;42;27 - 00;36;47;07
Speaker 2
It's a decent looking truck, but I hate knowing all those things. What's the other car you were talking about? There's another one, right?

00;36;47;07 - 00;36;57;24
Speaker 1
There is another one. So we're we're very much switching gears, pun intended to do a hydrogen electric vehicle.

00;36;57;26 - 00;36;59;01
Speaker 2
What? Really?

00;36;59;01 - 00;36;59;15
Speaker 1
Yes.

00;36;59;24 - 00;37;01;13
Speaker 2
So has that been done?

00;37;01;16 - 00;37;21;04
Speaker 1
Hydrogen, hydrogen. Hydrogen, electric. Electric. It has been done. I think it was done in Europe. There are there's one or two Toyotas available in the states like in California that are hydrogen vehicles, but the range is very minimal.

00;37;21;12 - 00;37;25;28
Speaker 2
So this one, hydrogen, though, or the hydrogen, hydrogen electric. Okay.

00;37;25;28 - 00;37;31;19
Speaker 1
So it's basically a hydrogen generator on board that generates electricity to increase the range.

00;37;32;26 - 00;37;38;27
Speaker 2
Oh, so it's not like a dual engine system. No such thing as an electric would be. No. Basically two different means.

00;37;38;27 - 00;37;42;07
Speaker 1
So it's it's basically like the Fisker Karma with hydrogen.

00;37;42;27 - 00;37;44;06
Speaker 2
So it's more of a generator.

00;37;44;06 - 00;37;45;18
Speaker 1
It's more of a generator. Exactly.

00;37;46;00 - 00;37;49;04
Speaker 2
Okay. That's okay. Sure. All right.

00;37;49;12 - 00;37;52;01
Speaker 1
So the brand that this vehicle is is Hyundai.

00;37;52;15 - 00;37;52;26
Speaker 3
Mm.

00;37;53;07 - 00;37;54;17
Speaker 2
We just read the.

00;37;54;17 - 00;38;04;21
Speaker 1
Part of how it did just rip apart a Hyundai, but I think this is one of the coolest concept cars it is the envisions 74.

00;38;06;10 - 00;38;06;22
Speaker 3
Let's see.

00;38;06;22 - 00;38;09;29
Speaker 1
671 horsepower. What?

00;38;11;14 - 00;38;13;00
Speaker 3
Yes, it.

00;38;13;00 - 00;38;16;17
Speaker 2
Looks like, I don't know, very old but new.

00;38;16;17 - 00;38;31;20
Speaker 1
Yes. So styling cues have been taken from the Ioniq five. And when this was designed, it was designed as kind of like a Restomod revision, kind.

00;38;31;20 - 00;38;32;13
Speaker 2
Of which I can see.

00;38;32;13 - 00;38;46;28
Speaker 1
Remake of the 1974 Hyundai Pony concept. And that was designed by I'm going to mispronounce his name by Georgia Auto Judge Mario, that Italian guy who designed the DeLorean.

00;38;48;02 - 00;38;52;18
Speaker 2
Oh, that guy. Oh, yeah. Yeah. See, it did look a little DeLorean ish, the way it's kind of squared off.

00;38;52;18 - 00;38;53;06
Speaker 1
Yes.

00;38;53;15 - 00;38;54;05
Speaker 2
Okay. Yeah.

00;38;54;05 - 00;39;26;21
Speaker 1
So, yeah. So it's a 671 horsepower hydrogen fuel cell powertrain. So basically it's to the point where if it was a pure electric, you'd have like 30 miles of range. But with the with the hydrogen boost, you get quite a lot more. I don't think there's actual numbers released there might be. I haven't been able to find any, you know, numbers of of actual range on it, but I think it looks absolutely phenomenal.

00;39;26;21 - 00;39;45;17
Speaker 1
Tremendous. And the reason why I'm so excited for it is a lot of car enthusiasts, including myself, and I'm sure, you know, Jason will agree with me here. When it comes to electric cars, we were worried that they were all going to be boring like the Nissan Leaf.

00;39;45;29 - 00;39;47;14
Speaker 2
Hmm. Dorky. Yes.

00;39;48;05 - 00;39;54;18
Speaker 1
And this has proved that they aren't necessarily all going to be like they don't.

00;39;54;18 - 00;39;55;17
Speaker 2
Have to be. They don't have.

00;39;55;17 - 00;39;56;16
Speaker 1
No, they don't have to be.

00;39;56;19 - 00;40;00;15
Speaker 2
Not at all. I mean, so this is a production car?

00;40;00;15 - 00;40;00;29
Speaker 1
No, no, no.

00;40;00;29 - 00;40;05;03
Speaker 2
This is this is just a car. This is just. Okay. Yeah, it seems too good to be a production car.

00;40;06;08 - 00;40;22;16
Speaker 1
Yeah. Are they going to are they going to make something like this in the future? Most likely because the ioniq five looks great. And then they ended up releasing a second one alongside it. I can't remember the name of it, but it looks it looks really cool if you've seen the in 74, I'm sure you've seen the other one.

00;40;22;17 - 00;40;51;12
Speaker 1
Yeah. But then they ended up releasing the Ioniq six, so the Ioniq five has that kind of retro styling. The Ioniq six is kind of like a teardrop shape. The back of it kind of looks like a mercedes se, but it looks, it looks really cool. Like it's a, it's a genuinely interesting looking car, but it's kind of like a sports coupe, kind of looks.

00;40;51;12 - 00;40;52;01
Speaker 2
Like an egg.

00;40;52;17 - 00;40;55;08
Speaker 1
It does. And that, you know, granted, that's mainly for ever.

00;40;55;09 - 00;41;02;06
Speaker 2
Looks like somebody stole the front of it off of the model three in the back of it, off of it, kind of a sort of demented Porsche.

00;41;02;17 - 00;41;07;06
Speaker 1
And it kind of looks like the Mercedes AMG GT 63 back and.

00;41;07;06 - 00;41;08;19
Speaker 2
Also a perverted egg car.

00;41;08;29 - 00;41;09;26
Speaker 1
It is.

00;41;09;26 - 00;41;14;12
Speaker 2
No, no, no not the I was thinking of their stupid atomic thing. Mercedes electric car.

00;41;15;17 - 00;41;16;20
Speaker 1
Oh the X.

00;41;16;21 - 00;41;26;05
Speaker 2
Yes. Yeah. I thought I was going to say it looks closer to that. Oh no. The key thing I don't mind is back on it. Yeah. No, the.

00;41;26;05 - 00;41;30;00
Speaker 1
Other X is an egg. Perverted egg car. It is a perverted.

00;41;30;00 - 00;41;31;02
Speaker 2
That's terrible. I hate it.

00;41;31;06 - 00;41;33;11
Speaker 1
I like the looks of it. I'm sure. I'm sure the.

00;41;33;21 - 00;41;51;16
Speaker 2
Stuff looks like a Kit Kat chunky version of a Volkswagen Beetle from this picture that I'm looking at, like gonna kick out chunky it's a long get it And then they just stole a couple of features from other cars. It looks silly, but no, it is a good look at the future of electric cars and they don't have to be boring.

00;41;51;16 - 00;42;00;02
Speaker 2
I know some very interesting takes on them. I think the hydrogen idea is quite good, but I a a lot of things with hydrogen.

00;42;00;02 - 00;42;02;10
Speaker 1
I still think synthetic fuels are the way to go.

00;42;02;11 - 00;42;20;12
Speaker 2
They are. And I just have a lot of issues with hydrogen. I know they're getting better at storing it safely inside of a car. It's just so dangerous. It is like the whole process, right? I believe I'm right in saying you are not able to refill your own hydrogen based car. Yeah. You can. I don't believe you're able to self-serve.

00;42;21;29 - 00;42;41;04
Speaker 2
I think side. How are you sure? I believe it has to be a full service thing. It was in Europe when it first came out. You not allowed to fill your car with hydrogen yourself. It had to be done by somebody with like, I don't know if you have to be trained for it, but somebody from like a shell like gas station, I'm almost certain of that.

00;42;41;17 - 00;42;44;11
Speaker 2
It might have changed, but when it first came out, that's what you had to do.

00;42;44;11 - 00;42;48;08
Speaker 1
Yeah. When it first when it first came out it was extremely dangerous. It was. Yeah.

00;42;48;08 - 00;43;06;20
Speaker 2
So like like it can be. I think even still, it's less dangerous. I know there's better procedures in places and there's better ways of doing it. I won't get too deep into it really. I still think synthetic fuels are the way to go. I think this is proof that we can have all of these different methods of energy in the same place.

00;43;06;20 - 00;43;28;19
Speaker 2
Yeah, right. I know it's a it's a very differently exciting time for cars and I hope synthetic fuels pull through and we can keep all of the big smashing v-8s. And I believe if that does happen, I don't I want to talk about this in other podcast, but I think if synthetic fuels find a way to be mass produced, we're to see Vuitton's V-12 back in motorsport.

00;43;28;19 - 00;43;37;19
Speaker 1
Did you hear about what Pagani said is Pagani has completely thrown their electric vehicle research out the window to focus on making a V12 shot.

00;43;37;19 - 00;43;54;01
Speaker 2
Oh, yeah. Really? Yeah. I did not hear about I saw The Wire are videos that have been making rounds this week and let me just insert a soundbite. Let's wait and.

00;44;42;17 - 00;44;46;11
Speaker 3
You these. Oh insane.

00;44;46;14 - 00;44;47;24
Speaker 2
It sounds better than the Zonda.

00;44;47;29 - 00;44;48;25
Speaker 1
It does.

00;44;48;27 - 00;44;52;24
Speaker 2
It does sounds a lot. And that for some reason I can't understand why.

00;44;52;28 - 00;44;57;13
Speaker 1
And that's saying a lot because the Zonda Are is one of our favorite sounding vehicles of.

00;44;57;18 - 00;45;15;15
Speaker 2
All time ever, I want to say. Yeah, I don't even want to make that list right now, but it's top five and it's not four or five. No, like it's up there, so. Oh man, I don't know. It's a pretty cool car. So it is interesting that they are completely, completely abandoning their electric stuff because electric.

00;45;15;15 - 00;45;16;16
Speaker 1
At the moment is.

00;45;16;16 - 00;45;21;10
Speaker 2
Still a very good companion to drive and like wheels independently. Yeah, it is.

00;45;22;06 - 00;45;27;21
Speaker 1
I think it's a good addition, but I don't think it's it's there for the sole powertrain yet.

00;45;27;22 - 00;45;47;23
Speaker 2
Now I don't really know how it's going to go yet. And if you can do synthetic fuels and keep why not. It just makes more sense. Like why there's so many reasons. So and that's why people buy those cars, by the way, is the sound that's the selling point. So anyways, yeah, very cool. Very cool stuff. But that is a car I very, very much like.

00;45;47;24 - 00;45;54;20
Speaker 1
Yes, we're we're going to be moving from cars. We very much like to cars we do not like.

00;45;55;01 - 00;45;56;22
Speaker 2
Yeah. With my pick this week.

00;45;56;25 - 00;46;10;04
Speaker 1
It is your pick this week. Yes. And we've discussed this before too. So we kind of know what we're we're getting into. We're not getting into something nice. Now what's what's your pick this week, Jason?

00;46;10;07 - 00;46;28;07
Speaker 2
My pick this week for fact, that car is none other than the immaculate. And by immaculate I mean terrible Jeep Patriot. Oh, my God, this thing is so bad. You know, a car is bad when the grade on the sunvisor, it has a rollover warning.

00;46;28;07 - 00;46;28;21
Speaker 1
Oh, yes.

00;46;28;21 - 00;46;34;14
Speaker 2
In any year past 2015. Yes, that makes no sense. So, oh, my God.

00;46;34;15 - 00;46;35;04
Speaker 1
Have you driven.

00;46;35;05 - 00;46;40;24
Speaker 2
Right? Yes. I actually hate to admit this, but actually, no, thank God. The Jeep Liberty was the car that I.

00;46;40;24 - 00;46;42;06
Speaker 1
Oh, right. Okay.

00;46;42;07 - 00;47;02;08
Speaker 2
So my driving instructor had I don't know if you've ever seen it. The one with the pedals on the passenger side. Yeah, yeah. It's terrible. So the brake kept sticking and everything was extremely dangerous to learn. And actually the Jeep Liberty, probably the demented, more successful cousin than the Jeep Patriot. I hate it. It's terrible. It's boxy, it's ugly.

00;47;02;08 - 00;47;04;17
Speaker 2
It was built by idiots. The quality is terrible.

00;47;05;09 - 00;47;06;07
Speaker 1
Very terrible. I would not.

00;47;06;07 - 00;47;09;25
Speaker 2
Be shocked if somebody told me it had asbestos in it now would make complete sense.

00;47;09;25 - 00;47;12;04
Speaker 3
Yep. Like it's so.

00;47;13;06 - 00;47;16;24
Speaker 1
Stupid. Has it has as fast as it's painted with LED.

00;47;17;26 - 00;47;21;29
Speaker 3
Yes. It just looks like. Yeah. It looks like something you'd.

00;47;21;29 - 00;47;25;20
Speaker 2
Find at a garage sale. Like it's just this thing.

00;47;25;27 - 00;47;26;29
Speaker 1
They're noisy. There was.

00;47;26;29 - 00;47;29;01
Speaker 3
Initially the moment it hit.

00;47;29;01 - 00;47;34;04
Speaker 2
The dealership. Yeah, I don't understand. If you look on AutoTrader or any of that crap trying to find a car.

00;47;34;15 - 00;47;37;07
Speaker 3
It's just flooded with these miserable.

00;47;37;07 - 00;47;39;21
Speaker 2
Little things where it's like they want to be a jeep.

00;47;39;21 - 00;47;40;02
Speaker 1
And they're.

00;47;40;08 - 00;47;47;09
Speaker 2
People. They hate them when people hate them and they're really stupid and people don't like that Jeep. Yes, there's issues.

00;47;47;17 - 00;47;48;23
Speaker 1
Yes, there is a big issue.

00;47;49;05 - 00;48;15;24
Speaker 2
Those people like just these demented, stupid little things with no ride quality or like safety elements. This is just a dangerous, slow, unattractive, uncomfortable poverty deathtrap of a car. If you bought one new or you know somebody who bought one new, I would looking for underlying issues because we're either talking school shooter, we're talking murder, we're talking I don't know what are other bad things.

00;48;17;17 - 00;48;23;15
Speaker 1
I was going to say pre-teen girl trying to get her first car and her dad's like, I'm going to buy you a drink because they're full.

00;48;23;16 - 00;48;27;17
Speaker 2
There's no chance that is. That title is reserved for the Mazda three Honda Accord and.

00;48;27;17 - 00;48;28;06
Speaker 1
The Ford Focus.

00;48;28;07 - 00;48;39;12
Speaker 2
Exactly. On Cobalt and Chevy Cruze, actually, way more. Yes, but no. This is just a terrible, terrible car driven by people. And they've got something they're hiding.

00;48;39;12 - 00;48;40;08
Speaker 1
Something they're hiding.

00;48;40;08 - 00;48;44;29
Speaker 2
You were up to something. If you drive a Jeep Patriot, now you're up to something. If you bought one new and.

00;48;44;29 - 00;48;45;17
Speaker 1
You fentanyl.

00;48;46;00 - 00;48;54;29
Speaker 2
Something you rather do fentanyl, you're locked up or there's some other underlying issue or like you were a horse girl or something. Oh, and when you were in public school.

00;48;55;02 - 00;48;55;22
Speaker 1
Oh no.

00;48;55;22 - 00;48;58;04
Speaker 2
Something. There's something up about you see.

00;48;58;05 - 00;48;58;14
Speaker 1
Yeah.

00;48;58;14 - 00;49;03;11
Speaker 2
Duplicate the silver. What's up with that. They're always silver or the stupid burgundy too.

00;49;03;16 - 00;49;05;22
Speaker 1
Or black. I've seen a lot of black.

00;49;05;22 - 00;49;18;04
Speaker 2
Yeah, there's a lot of black ones. When I was in the Silver Burgundy. Stupid burgundy one. Yeah. Burgundy car. New from the. Oh, my God. Why don't I just flush my money down the toilet? I imagine optioning that. And it costs money, too. I'd throw.

00;49;18;04 - 00;49;19;23
Speaker 1
Up. Yeah. Oh.

00;49;20;07 - 00;49;22;19
Speaker 2
No, I hate. I really, really hate that car.

00;49;22;23 - 00;49;48;23
Speaker 1
One of the things about the Jeep Patriot is Jeep drivers very much like making their vehicles more unsafe. They like lifting them. They like putting bigger tires. They like taking off the doors. They like taking off the roof. They like making it look angry. They like making it look stupid. Jeep drivers are one of the worst drivers out there because they try and specifically make their vehicle worse.

00;49;49;01 - 00;49;53;11
Speaker 1
And, you know, it's bad when those drivers don't like the Jeep Patriot.

00;49;53;11 - 00;49;58;10
Speaker 2
Yes. Jeep drivers are committed to making their car as terrible as possible.

00;49;58;10 - 00;49;59;21
Speaker 1
Like putting showers on the outside.

00;49;59;21 - 00;50;24;12
Speaker 2
Humanly possible way. I want the esthetics to be as ugly as possible. You have to mad whittle jeep. Yeah. I want it to have terrible ride quality. I want to appeal every single thing. I want the entire structure and structural integrity of the car to be centralized entirely on the six and seven vertebrae in my spine. I want terrible road noise so I can have a conversation.

00;50;24;17 - 00;50;47;13
Speaker 2
I also want to take doors off so I can really get that tread where, you know, really listen in on, oh yeah, I want to have terrible emissions. I want to get terrible fuel economy. I want to have maybe piston slap. If I'm feeling adventurous, I want to get mud all over the side of my leg. I to never be able to take my pets in it.

00;50;47;24 - 00;50;55;18
Speaker 2
Or if I do put some sort of catch fence in, I want to be able to tow things out because they get stuck. Because I go where there aren't roads for some reason.

00;50;56;08 - 00;51;05;16
Speaker 1
You know, it's crazy. There are roads, the cars can drive on and jeep drivers are like, Hey, this wasn't made for driving. I'm going to ignore this.

00;51;05;16 - 00;51;06;18
Speaker 2
Really? There's roads.

00;51;06;18 - 00;51;07;11
Speaker 1
There's roads.

00;51;07;11 - 00;51;08;13
Speaker 2
I didn't know there is roads.

00;51;08;13 - 00;51;08;26
Speaker 1
You must be.

00;51;09;01 - 00;51;10;20
Speaker 3
Fine. I was just. Well, see, the.

00;51;10;20 - 00;51;15;03
Speaker 2
Thing is, I've just been driving around fields aimlessly for the past 12 and a half years.

00;51;15;03 - 00;51;18;05
Speaker 1
Okay. Do you drive a 2011 Jeep Wrangler with an angry grill?

00;51;18;06 - 00;51;20;26
Speaker 2
I don't. Do you don't? But maybe that's why it hasn't been as fun.

00;51;20;26 - 00;51;22;02
Speaker 1
Oh, that's probably why.

00;51;22;02 - 00;51;31;27
Speaker 2
That's probably why. Wow, I've been there last time I ran through a cornfield, I was wondering, like, Jesus, I'm really getting a lot of cornstalks stuck in the grill of my car. If it was higher.

00;51;32;03 - 00;51;33;04
Speaker 1
If it was higher, maybe.

00;51;33;04 - 00;51;39;00
Speaker 2
It was more and it was if maybe it was a little angrier or I'm going through the cornfield, like maybe it would have done a.

00;51;39;00 - 00;51;42;18
Speaker 1
Better maybe if the entirety of the car was painted in line x.

00;51;43;06 - 00;51;43;22
Speaker 3
Oh.

00;51;43;22 - 00;51;47;05
Speaker 2
That's what I should have done. Oh can you ceramic line X.

00;51;47;13 - 00;51;48;06
Speaker 1
I don't know.

00;51;48;06 - 00;51;52;10
Speaker 2
Maybe can't. Ceramic caught my car. I'm a jeep owner. Oh, it's much filth.

00;51;52;19 - 00;51;56;05
Speaker 1
Oh, yeah. No, no, no. You want, you want the filth to be caked on.

00;51;56;05 - 00;52;04;11
Speaker 2
I want more filth. Is there a negative ceramic coat? Can I like somehow sandpaper sand like sandpaper.

00;52;05;03 - 00;52;06;04
Speaker 1
That's even better.

00;52;06;05 - 00;52;07;28
Speaker 2
Maybe sand my car down.

00;52;07;28 - 00;52;26;17
Speaker 1
Maybe if you cut the exhaust and have it hanging in the middle of the axle. Yes. That could be a that could be a way. Just in the middle of the car. Just in the middle of the car. Maybe you for you. Maybe if you reroute it into the cockpit, you're going to get some some fumes. And that might help make you or that might help you make decisions on what to do next to your jeeps.

00;52;26;17 - 00;52;41;08
Speaker 1
Maybe if you have one of those little electric Barbie jeeps, but it has six wheels instead of four, maybe you put that in the back of your jeep, it'll weigh it down to give it more traction. Yeah. And then it can just come right through the vents and you can use it as like a defrosting.

00;52;41;08 - 00;52;46;04
Speaker 2
Right. Okay. So almost like you can have like a slider on like moderate.

00;52;46;11 - 00;52;46;28
Speaker 1
Yeah, yeah.

00;52;46;28 - 00;52;49;15
Speaker 2
Like carbon monoxide coming through said vents.

00;52;49;15 - 00;52;57;29
Speaker 1
Yeah. Like one of those cars from the seventies where, you know, you have the hot and cold only on jeeps. It's, you know, minor carbon monoxide or a lot of carbon monoxide poisoning.

00;52;58;04 - 00;53;02;08
Speaker 2
Yeah, right. And then that gets all of that pesky snow off of the front windshield.

00;53;02;08 - 00;53;14;18
Speaker 1
Exactly. Yeah, right. And it also makes you want to do more mods. But one of the wonderful things about Jeeps is there's there's showers attached to them. So if you get too much carbon monoxide, you can take shower and kind of, you know, get some of it off.

00;53;14;18 - 00;53;24;09
Speaker 2
Probably still maybe a little dryer connect. Is that with some carbon monoxide because you want to get rid of all of that? No, no, no. And then that in turn makes you like you can have too much carbon monoxide poisoning. Like, what happens if you have a lot?

00;53;24;22 - 00;53;25;28
Speaker 1
Oh, it's a jeep thing.

00;53;25;28 - 00;53;31;07
Speaker 2
Oh, you buy. Oh, I see. So if you have a lot then you buy a Jeep Gladiator.

00;53;31;07 - 00;53;36;01
Speaker 1
Yeah, yeah, yeah. The more the more carbon monoxide poisoning you have, the more.

00;53;36;01 - 00;53;39;00
Speaker 2
You want to buy, the more and more perverse jeep.

00;53;39;12 - 00;53;40;15
Speaker 1
Exactly.

00;53;40;15 - 00;53;49;21
Speaker 2
Okay. So when people say it's a Jeep thing, it's really just carbon monoxide poisoning. It's really just carbon dioxide poisoning. Exactly. Oh, okay. I see.

00;53;49;22 - 00;53;51;06
Speaker 1
Yeah, I get it.

00;53;51;06 - 00;53;53;24
Speaker 2
Yeah, I get it. I'm a Jeep guy now. I'm in Jeep.

00;53;53;29 - 00;53;59;11
Speaker 1
Now. You understand it? No, you understand. You understand the lifestyle of a Jeep owner.

00;53;59;18 - 00;54;05;05
Speaker 2
So I'll just stand behind my car for a little bit after the show and I'll just, you know.

00;54;05;13 - 00;54;06;11
Speaker 1
Inhale the exhaust.

00;54;06;20 - 00;54;13;27
Speaker 2
Yes. I'll put my face directly next to the exhaust of my car. Yeah. And I better. By the next show, I will be the proud owner of a Jeep Wrangler.

00;54;14;01 - 00;54;41;08
Speaker 1
Oh, most likely. I think so. I think so. And maybe. Maybe, if you're lucky, what you'll do is you'll get like a 2011, 2012 Jeep Wrangler and you'll put, like bad boy stickers on the side of the hood. You'll do if you're if you're lucky, you'll get one of those, like, angry style Jeep grilles. You put one of those big, like, metal push bars on the front with a winch attached to it.

00;54;41;08 - 00;54;42;11
Speaker 2
What about a winch?

00;54;42;21 - 00;54;46;12
Speaker 1
Winch attached to the push bar? Not attached to the chassis, just the push bar.

00;54;46;12 - 00;54;50;22
Speaker 2
And I need to get cracking on this. That's a good thing. My car has dual exhaust.

00;54;50;22 - 00;54;53;01
Speaker 1
Oh, good thing you can double dose.

00;54;53;03 - 00;54;56;28
Speaker 2
Yeah. Oh, man, I may even throw it in the garage. I'll put the garage door down.

00;54;57;00 - 00;55;00;06
Speaker 1
There you go. Garage door down. Crack a window.

00;55;00;17 - 00;55;04;00
Speaker 2
A little bit. Again, moderate. I want to mimic that moderate setting.

00;55;04;00 - 00;55;08;22
Speaker 1
You want to get in to the moderate now so that you can get into the perverse right.

00;55;08;22 - 00;55;09;07
Speaker 2
So it's.

00;55;09;15 - 00;55;09;23
Speaker 1
Later.

00;55;09;24 - 00;55;37;09
Speaker 2
Almost like a micro dose. Yeah. Of it's a jeep thing. Yeah. Lovely. Okay, well after that rant, it is important to note that we were at some sort of demented Jeep car show in London. It was the Jeep invasion three. Yes, I didn't. I would be hard pressed to know what the difference was between one and two, because I mean, dear God, it was just a mess and everything we just ranted about there, we saw and we saw like that was.

00;55;37;17 - 00;55;54;21
Speaker 1
I think, one of the one of the highlights of that was we got to see what Jeep ownership is really like. And the amount of people that came with lawn chairs and coolers and Barbie jeeps and dogs and everything, like it was full lifestyle styling.

00;55;54;23 - 00;55;56;14
Speaker 3
Like drones and.

00;55;56;24 - 00;55;57;22
Speaker 1
There was drones.

00;55;57;26 - 00;56;01;08
Speaker 2
Like the RC cars, which is like, no.

00;56;01;20 - 00;56;06;17
Speaker 1
It wasn't, it wasn't RC cars because there was carbon monoxide poisoning involved. Those RC Jeeps.

00;56;06;17 - 00;56;11;21
Speaker 2
RC Jeeps, yes. Sorry, sorry. It's a jeep thing. It is a jeep thing. I got to get in front of my car a little bit here.

00;56;11;21 - 00;56;12;01
Speaker 1
Yeah.

00;56;12;10 - 00;56;19;16
Speaker 2
Yeah. No, people had some really weird things. They had like I saw a couple of plush dolls. There's a lot of, like, colored LEDs, which I was not a fan of.

00;56;19;18 - 00;56;23;20
Speaker 1
There was a pink jeep with colored pink wheels that were different.

00;56;23;20 - 00;56;38;01
Speaker 2
A different color and pink and metallic. They were metallic in the body, wasn't. Yeah, it was. There was a lot of issues and it was pretty much the same person walking around, you know, pretty much somebody with a high V and then camel pants. That was something I saw. Do you want to be seen or not, man? Yeah.

00;56;38;01 - 00;56;38;16
Speaker 2
What the.

00;56;38;16 - 00;56;44;23
Speaker 1
Hell? I lost count of the amount of pit viper sunglasses that we saw there.

00;56;44;24 - 00;56;52;14
Speaker 2
Yes, and it was not a welcome sight. I do not the pit vipers, but these were not. And I like wearing them. Ironically, one thing.

00;56;52;25 - 00;56;54;14
Speaker 1
Wearing them unironically is wearing.

00;56;54;14 - 00;57;03;28
Speaker 2
Them unironically and like being somewhat decently, like wearing them with a polo is objectively the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen in my life. You know, I saw that at least three times.

00;57;04;01 - 00;57;08;11
Speaker 1
Yes. And but it wasn't just any polo. It was a Jeep polo.

00;57;09;03 - 00;57;09;28
Speaker 2
The one guy did have a jeep.

00;57;09;29 - 00;57;11;07
Speaker 1
The one guy did have a Jeep Polo.

00;57;11;08 - 00;57;16;05
Speaker 2
Yeah. I think the other guy had like a Pepsi one on or something. It was very odd, but no.

00;57;16;26 - 00;57;21;08
Speaker 1
I made Jeep T-shirts sitting on passenger seats too.

00;57;21;09 - 00;57;22;05
Speaker 2
There was literally.

00;57;22;05 - 00;57;34;07
Speaker 1
Oh, there was one. There was one jeep that I very much enjoyed. And it was an old jeep, C5, kind of like it was the red one. It was the red one that was had the slightly distasteful. It was a tastefully.

00;57;34;08 - 00;57;36;25
Speaker 2
Judged too much chrome for me, but it was still nice.

00;57;36;25 - 00;57;40;01
Speaker 1
It was the most tasteful mod jeep. There was like.

00;57;40;01 - 00;57;43;12
Speaker 2
A yeah, if you're really, really old school guy, it was like a fantasy island.

00;57;43;22 - 00;57;44;13
Speaker 1
Exactly.

00;57;44;13 - 00;57;46;20
Speaker 2
Yeah, yeah. It was nice. I didn't mind you.

00;57;46;20 - 00;57;53;18
Speaker 1
Know what I didn't see? I did. And I was kind of surprised by this. I didn't see a single Jurassic Park Jeep there.

00;57;54;24 - 00;58;09;02
Speaker 2
Man. That is a good point. If you do a drastic part Jeep, that's pretty cool. That is pretty cool. I got to say, like, because that's that wasn't like a ridiculously modded out car, you know, like outrageous or anything. It's kind of just a tasteful red jeep. Yeah, right. Or was it yellow?

00;58;09;02 - 00;58;17;02
Speaker 1
It was no. I think it was like a it was either green or gray with red. There was red on it. The wheels red. But yeah.

00;58;17;03 - 00;58;22;20
Speaker 2
Regardless, it wasn't objectionable enough where I was disgusted by it. And I think that's probably what you should do.

00;58;22;21 - 00;58;24;02
Speaker 1
Yeah, but there wasn't a single.

00;58;24;02 - 00;58;29;23
Speaker 2
It was usually there was a lot of monster logo as far as like big tough jeep. Big P jeep is stupid.

00;58;29;23 - 00;58;30;23
Speaker 1
Bad girl jeep.

00;58;30;23 - 00;58;32;16
Speaker 2
Bad girl jeep. Jeep thing.

00;58;32;22 - 00;58;33;00
Speaker 1
No.

00;58;33;00 - 00;58;47;25
Speaker 2
So Maverick bigger a winner. Yeah, yeah, it was disgusting. And we stumbled on it after Porsche cars and coffee. And it was really exciting to see how the other half lives and the other half apparently lives in carbon monoxide poisoning. They do constantly.

00;58;47;25 - 00;58;59;15
Speaker 1
Yeah. And I think it was the the realization for Jason that because we were driving away from cars and coffee and we're driving up and we see this parking lot full of jeeps and we both kind of had a moment.

00;58;59;15 - 00;58;59;29
Speaker 2
With said.

00;59;00;11 - 00;59;12;21
Speaker 1
Not a word was said. We got to the point we were just about to pass it. We both turned and looked at each other at the exact same moment, made a face, and proceeded to slam on the brakes and pull a U-turn to attend this event by.

00;59;12;21 - 00;59;23;23
Speaker 2
Slam on the brakes. I mean traffic behind us and we halfway got into like an opening and just went blind, like pretty much into a curb. Yeah. And just turned around in like six lanes of traffic.

00;59;24;03 - 00;59;25;01
Speaker 1
We did on 2%.

00;59;25;02 - 00;59;44;27
Speaker 2
No business doing so, no proceeded to walk over and then verbally assault every car. We walked by within earshot of every single owner and it was a good time. It was at the time of listening. You should be able to see a couple snaps on the story of this. Yeah, we're going to have a couple more videos coming out.

00;59;45;07 - 00;59;51;01
Speaker 2
Like of us just doing nonsense at this thing. Yeah, it was almost more fun than cars and coffee.

00;59;51;14 - 00;59;57;14
Speaker 1
Yeah, almost. In a very strange way. Yes, I think I think we're going to have a couple of tech talks up, a couple Instagram reels.

00;59;58;16 - 00;59;59;10
Speaker 2
It was too good.

00;59;59;10 - 01;00;01;25
Speaker 1
It was it was too good for good reasons.

01;00;01;25 - 01;00;03;00
Speaker 2
It was disgusting.

01;00;03;05 - 01;00;10;10
Speaker 1
But I mean, the purpose of this was just, you know, cheap slander. It's fun. Cheap stoner does it?

01;00;10;13 - 01;00;12;29
Speaker 2
Donut, shadow donut. I mean, they.

01;00;13;12 - 01;00;17;02
Speaker 1
They do it the best. I mean, Instagram. They do. Adnan does it the best.

01;00;17;02 - 01;00;20;15
Speaker 2
What I say is donut, keep up the cheap slander.

01;00;20;15 - 01;00;20;26
Speaker 1
Keep it up.

01;00;20;26 - 01;00;34;08
Speaker 2
You know the temple of cheap slander and I quite enjoy it is a safe space for those that want to rip it apart. It is a safe space for those without the carbon monoxide vents. So, yeah, I'm here for it. I'm about it.

01;00;35;10 - 01;00;38;22
Speaker 1
I think. Yeah, I think that's it for for this week.

01;00;38;22 - 01;00;39;05
Speaker 2
I think so.

01;00;40;12 - 01;00;52;21
Speaker 1
There was a lot of stuff that we, we went through, we in it we were involved in. I mean, the emcee raised the curse of coffee and coffee. The the ripping apart the jeeps. Yeah.

01;00;52;21 - 01;00;55;00
Speaker 2
We never went for a little bit here, that's for sure.

01;00;55;00 - 01;00;56;00
Speaker 1
It has been. Yeah.

01;00;56;14 - 01;00;58;24
Speaker 2
And an eventful couple of weeks coming up for.

01;00;58;26 - 01;00;59;24
Speaker 1
A very much so.

01;00;59;24 - 01;01;02;11
Speaker 2
It'll be nice to switch gears really.

01;01;02;11 - 01;01;02;28
Speaker 1
Pun intended.

01;01;02;28 - 01;01;03;25
Speaker 2
Pun intended. Yeah.

01;01;04;20 - 01;01;23;00
Speaker 1
But next time, next time you're going to be listening to this, the Hot Wheels car pack. It's going to be out. We're going to have some more information on that. Kind of like the feel of it and how it is. Some, you know, a little bit of a review based on that expansion, which I cited for.

01;01;23;00 - 01;01;25;16
Speaker 2
It'll be a very focused podcast next week.

01;01;25;16 - 01;01;29;06
Speaker 1
It'll be I think it'll be the most for based podcast. We it'll be a.

01;01;29;06 - 01;01;49;11
Speaker 2
Definitely be the more serious the podcast we've had as well. Yeah. So with good reason, this is a big PAC, this is very important, much like the Lego one. It was a very important ah the one after the Lego one I should say was a very important PAC to determine where is this game actually going. Yeah. Because it always seems like it's going to go a direction we think it's going to and then it changes and then it.

01;01;49;11 - 01;01;49;25
Speaker 1
Does change.

01;01;49;25 - 01;01;54;00
Speaker 2
Direction. So it's just this is a lot of good that we're seeing, especially with the map.

01;01;54;00 - 01;01;56;05
Speaker 1
The map looks, the map doesn't really cool.

01;01;56;17 - 01;02;05;20
Speaker 2
So it's going to be important and we're looking forward to it. And yeah, it'll be it'll be one to listen to for sure. Yeah.

01;02;05;24 - 01;02;14;10
Speaker 1
So and hopefully by next recording we'll know or should know date for the next Porsche, Cars and Coffee, which is going to be happening in August.

01;02;14;10 - 01;02;14;28
Speaker 2
It should be.

01;02;15;18 - 01;02;21;27
Speaker 1
mid-August, probably around the 17th to 19 ish, depending on where the weekend falls.

01;02;21;29 - 01;02;35;23
Speaker 2
That'll be a good one to come visit us at as well. You're going to be super tired. And that September one, we'd still love to see you. We're still definitely going to be able to interview a couple of you. But I would say very good chance next month if you go I mean that's going be your focus is on you guys.

01;02;35;26 - 01;02;52;12
Speaker 1
Yeah. Because we want to hear your perspective. Yeah, I know that the Instagram lives that we've been doing recently haven't been super long. I want to get into like a more of a full length Instagram live during the August one and just kind of to you guys during the questions, they kind of, yeah, we're going.

01;02;52;12 - 01;02;53;27
Speaker 2
To pump it up a little bit better. So you know it's coming.

01;02;53;27 - 01;03;14;11
Speaker 1
So you know it's coming. Yeah. We're going to be we're going to be posting on the story, letting you know when we're going to be there, when we're going to be live and, you know, kind of showcase the cars and, you know, again, you know, get you guys involved, too, because as much as this is, you know, the the For the World podcast, we wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you guys.

01;03;14;11 - 01;03;19;00
Speaker 1
And we absolutely want you guys to be just as involved as as you can be just as involved as we. I think what.

01;03;19;00 - 01;03;21;20
Speaker 2
We'll do is will give something away during that stream.

01;03;21;21 - 01;03;22;14
Speaker 1
I think so that.

01;03;22;24 - 01;03;39;04
Speaker 2
You know, you watch the whole thing at the end. We're going to pick somebody who still, you know, kicking around and we'll give you something either maybe a Pac-Man or Hot Wheels pack or something. Maybe a shirt. I don't know. Yeah, probably easiest to do code. So, yeah, something to look out for for sure. But yeah, carbon copy next month can be a lot of fun.

01;03;39;04 - 01;03;47;17
Speaker 1
It is going to be a lot of fun. But yeah. Thank you very much for joining us on Episode six. Jason, do you have anything else to say to close us off?

01;03;47;22 - 01;03;49;22
Speaker 2
No, I don't think so, man. I think we're good for this week. Yeah.

01;03;50;03 - 01;03;55;13
Speaker 1
Yeah. Well, anyway, thank you, everyone, for joining us on episode six and I will see you next time.

01;03;55;14 - 01;04;33;13
Speaker 2
Yep.
